About The Position

The Pizza Maker works in a Domino’s store and may be scheduled part-time or full-time. Team members make and prepare menu items, assist customers by phone and in person, and expedite orders from the cut table. The role may offer opportunities to grow into management or other positions within the company.

Work involves operating store equipment, stocking and preparing ingredients, receiving and processing telephone orders, and cleaning the equipment and facility. The position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and hand use, along with occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, and bending. Working conditions may include hot and cold temperatures, odors, cornmeal dust, confined spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be willing and able to work all in-store stations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Ability to operate all store equipment.
• Ability to speak, hear, and understand verbal communication in person and by telephone.
• Ability to work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
• Physical ability to perform the stated job tasks, including frequent standing, walking, reaching, and hand use; lifting deliveries and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds; and occasional climbing, bending, crouching, or squatting.
• Ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces and use near- and mid-range vision and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Work all in-store stations, including making menu items, assisting customers by phone and in person, and expediting orders from the cut table.
• Operate store equipment and enter and process customer orders by telephone, computer keyboard, or touchscreen.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and make menu items.
• Receive and process telephone orders and make correct monetary change.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload and move product deliveries, including lifting and carrying ingredients and supplies.
• Meet quality-control standards and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
