About The Position

The Pizza Maker prepares products and supports customer service and store operations. The role involves operating store equipment; stocking ingredients and supplies; preparing products; taking and processing telephone and in-person orders; taking inventory and completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Schedules may be available part time or full time, and the company describes opportunities for advancement into management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to perform the listed physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload product deliveries using a hand truck and place cases on shelves.
• Perform other store tasks such as removing trash, stocking shelves, cleaning, and maintaining signs or equipment.
