About The Position

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service
  • Knowledge on all Pizza Department products and offers
  • Knowledge of pizza, sauces, and other food items, including their recipes
  • Willingness to work collaboratively and communicate with a team of co-workers and managers
  • Exhibit enthusiasm, positivity and/or knowledge about Adams’ products and quality
  • Ability to demonstrate and set the example for Adams’ culture and values
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Safely use all cutters, rollers, tools and any other equipment necessary to operate the Department
  • Consistently move, adjust, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for duration of shift
  • Occasionally ascend/descend a stepstool, stepladder, and/or ladder
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers for duration of shift
  • Communicate with others to exchange information
  • Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks including in tight and confined spaces

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, polite, and knowledgeable service by greeting customers and thanking them for shopping at Adams.
  • Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients, ensuring all utensils and equipment are clean and sanitized before use.
  • Assemble, bake, and plate or package pizzas, maintaining high standards for freshness, quality, and presentation.
  • Rotate and stock products in cases, keeping labels accurate, spaces filled, and older product in front.
  • Keep workstations, ovens, counters, and all department areas clean, organized, and food safe.
  • Perform regular quality checks on packaging, sell-by dates, and overall product appearance.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists and prioritize customer assistance over other tasks.
