About The Position

This is an immediate opening for a Pizza Maker at an awesome franchise with over 40 years of experience in the pizza business. The position offers great work for all ages with a flexible schedule, allowing shifts as short as 3 hours or as long as 10 hours. The company provides full pay right away for training and opportunities to earn tips. Employees receive a discount on food purchases every day, during shifts and on days off. Full-time employees (30+ hours per week) qualify for benefits after one year, including Health, Dental, Employer-matched 401k (4%), and PTO. Paid development programs are available, and the company emphasizes job security with no loss of hours or pay during pandemic restrictions. There is a fast-track, hands-on, in-store pay-scaling training program to learn to run shifts, which comes with a pay increase. Requirements

  • Must be available for some Late Afternoon/Early Evening and/or Weekend shifts
  • Must have attention for detail & food quality
  • Must have good customer service skills
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds with good mobility
  • Must be able to cooperate well on a team
  • Must have basic math and computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Some food service or kitchen experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receive Customer's orders over the phones & over the counter
  • Prepare & cook customer's orders
  • Perform basic/light kitchen operations, e.g., cleaning/maintaining cleanliness, stocking/rotating product, etc.
  • Watch and learn from managers how to do basic administrative tasks, e.g., inventory, food ordering, scheduling, running computer reports, entering operations evaluations, etc. (as part of Shift-Lead training)
