About The Position

Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill is seeking motivated and reliable candidates to prepare fresh dough and made-from-scratch pizzas and operate pizza ovens in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen. The position is open to part-time or full-time candidates. Team members prepare and bake pizzas, maintain product quality, follow recipes and portioning guidelines, and work cooperatively with kitchen staff, servers, and management. They also help maintain a clean and safe kitchen and follow restaurant sanitation and safety procedures. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
Strong attention to detail.
High standards of cleanliness.
Ability to lead and take direction.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand and walk for extended periods.
Working knowledge of restaurant kitchen operations.
Team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake made-from-scratch pizzas.
Ensure only quality finished products are served to guests.
Load and unload pizzas into and from the oven as needed.
Follow cutting, traying or boxing, and garnishing guidelines for each pizza size and style.
Use proper portioning utensils and follow recipe guidelines.
Work cooperatively with kitchen team members, servers, and management.
Maintain an overall clean environment.
Multitask and complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Assist with dough making, rolling, and preparation as needed.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures and restaurant protocols.
Safely handle, use, and store sanitation and cleaning chemicals.
