About The Position

Federales Logan Square is seeking a reliable Pizza Line Cook to join their team and expand their culinary skills. Federales is an open-air tequila and taco concept from Four Corners, a Chicago-based hospitality group known for its unique establishments and exceptional social experiences. This location will bring a lively, tongue-in-cheek take on a Mexican watering hole to the Logan Square neighborhood, serving wood-fired grilled meats and Mexican street food. Requirements

• Reliable
• Food Handlers certification
• Able to communicate effectively with other team members
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in busy restaurants
• Knowledge of modern kitchens, chefs, techniques
• Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated
• Flexible scheduling

Responsibilities

• Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing assigned items for foodservice
• Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices
• Assists other cooks during emergencies or rush periods
• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
• Assists in plating food items for service
• Cleans assigned workstation areas
• Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
• Carefully follows instructions and procedures set and communicated by Chef
