About The Position

Be part of the opening team for an exciting new upscale restaurant. We are building a talented kitchen team for a brand-new restaurant opening and are looking for experienced Pizza Cooks who take pride in quality, consistency, and working in a fast-paced culinary environment. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new opening, work alongside an experienced team, and help establish the standards and culture of the kitchen from day one.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of pizza cook, kitchen preparation, or related cooking experience
Hands-on experience preparing, stretching, topping, and baking pizza preferred
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Ability to communicate clearly with managers and kitchen team members
Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Availability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
English required

Nice To Haves

Basic Spanish is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality pizzas according to established recipes and standards
Stretch, top, and bake pizzas with consistency and attention to detail
Manage multiple food orders efficiently during high-volume service
Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to ensure quality
Maintain fresh, properly stocked cheese, sauce, toppings, and ingredients
Prepare ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and completing other kitchen prep
Set up and maintain an organized workstation for service
Label, rotate, and properly store ingredients following food safety standards
Complete opening, closing, and daily prep checklists
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment
Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership and fellow team members
Support the broader kitchen team wherever needed during service
