About The Position

Tread Athletics is a respected pitching development program that has assisted thousands of athletes since 2015. The organization focuses on truth-telling, hard work, and building lasting relationships. As a Pitching Content Specialist, you will collaborate with the coaching staff and Content Team to create technical YouTube videos, short-form content, and educational resources. This role is crucial for advancing industry education and providing valuable insights to pitchers, parents, and coaches who rely on Tread for guidance. This is a collaborative position where you will transform content ideas from pitching experts into easily digestible content for the pitching community. The content produced spans various areas, including athlete features, podcasts, and documenting training highlights. This specific role will concentrate on developing top-tier educational content in collaboration with the coaching team, rather than other formats. The content will be technical and specific, aimed at an audience knowledgeable about pitching. Success in this role requires an understanding of the game beyond just camera operation, including knowledge of pitching terminology and the ability to extract technical video ideas from coaches on biomechanics or sports nutrition, packaging them to be engaging and relevant. You will translate the expertise of pitching coaches into useful longform and shortform content that supports Tread's mission of helping pitchers reach their athletic potential, requiring proactive ideation and execution. While not appearing on camera, your contributions will be evident in all produced content. This role offers ownership, creative latitude, and the opportunity to shape content within a leading pitching development brand.
