PIT Operator - 3rd Shift

About The Position

The PIT Operator helps GXO provide supply chain solutions by operating powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move products, equipment, and materials. The role also includes handheld scanning, trailer loading and unloading, inbound receiving, and supporting inventory and logistics needs in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Operators are expected to maintain a clean work environment, follow the 7S program, and uphold quality, safety, and efficiency standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with availability for overtime when needed.

Requirements

Be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of warehouse experience.
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, equipment, and materials.
Use a handheld scanner accurately.
Load and unload trailers as needed.
Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence and understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
Perform inbound receiving processes.
Perform other assigned duties with consideration for quality, safety, and efficiency.
Support special projects or initiatives as directed by management.
Collaborate with warehouse operations, procurement, and other support teams to fulfill inventory and logistics needs.
