About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates a pit loader safely and efficiently to move raw materials, performs routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance, and loads and transports materials to designated areas within the site. The operator will communicate effectively with team members and supervisors and follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
• Strong awareness of safety standards and compliance requirements
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform tasks in demanding outdoor conditions
• Commitment to maintaining equipment and reporting issues promptly
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Responsibilities

• Operate pit loader safely and efficiently to move raw materials
