About The Position

Hendrick Motorsports, a leader in the auto racing industry, is currently looking for a Pit Crew Performer. The primary purpose of this position is to perform at a high speed and demonstrate agility in servicing the race car during race pit stops, either as a tire changer, jackman, tire carrier or fueler.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates extreme agility, speed, physical endurance, fine manipulation skills, and strong eye/hand coordination.
• Responsible for maintaining diet and weight control throughout the season.
• Responsible for jumping off the wall and being able to sprint in front of or behind the car as it passes without getting hit.
• Assists in set-up and breakdown for track-related events.
• Assists in shop as needed.
• May be responsible for carrying and removing tires, jack, or fuel can during the pit stop.
