About The Position

The Pit Clerk is responsible for performing computer input, clerical support and guest service duties in the table games pit area. This includes entering gaming table figures, preparing slips, maintaining supplies, and responding to guest requests. The role also involves managing promotional chips, printing reports, and assisting with player club cards and ratings.

Responsibilities

  • Enters all gaming table opening and closing figures in Excel spreadsheet for each shift and verifies accuracy.
  • Assists with markers for guests with credit in the pit.
  • Maintains an inventory of promotional chips, responsible for their inventory, distribution, and system redemption.
  • Prints reports at the end of shift and as needed by Floor Supervisors.
  • Performs various clerical duties in the pit, such as preparing Opener/Closer slips, tournament entry tickets, drawing tickets, tracking and ordering supplies, maintaining files, making copies, running errands, and calling dealers.
  • Performs various guest service duties, such as assisting floor supervisors in scanning and making new and reprint Player Club cards, greeting guests, answering telephones, and responding to guest requests for directions or other information.
  • Assists with changing cards on the floor as needed.
  • Enters player rating cards into the CMP system when needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of and effectively promotes company services, guest promotions, and the players’ club program.
  • Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.
  • Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
