About The Position

The Piping Estimator will be responsible for completing discipline estimates and collaborating with other pre-construction team members to finalize bids and proposals. This role involves interacting with internal and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand project scopes, drawings, specifications, 3D models, and other design documents. The estimator will quantify the scope of work into work hours, units, and costs, and extract relevant information from industry construction software. Additionally, the position requires understanding and mitigating technical and commercial risks through clarifications and exceptions, participating in constructability reviews, and collaborating with Purchasing and Constructability resources to develop scopes of work, pricing, and proposals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience within a manufacturing or industrial construction project or estimation setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, estimating software, and industry-specific tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field is preferred but not required.
