The company is recruiting for a full-time Piping Designer Level II position based in Calgary, Alberta, joining a team of world-class experts and dynamic go-getters.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience.
- Experience in CADWorx Plant 3D.
- Experience in piping layout of pumps, exchangers, vessels, columns, fired heaters.
- Experience utilizing laser scan data.
- Piping layout and design experience in capital refinery projects.
- Experience working with overseas Global Engineering Centre.
- Good communication.
- Refinery experience.
- Good piping layout and design experience.
- Site visit experience.
- CADD experience (AutoCAD, MicroStation) - differs by Client.
- PDS experience.
- Laser scan experience.
- Navisworks experience.
- Institute of Applied Science and Technology or equivalent.
- 3D: Auto Plant 2D: AutoCAD.
- SAGD CPF Design experience.
- Brownfield experience.
- Tie in experience.
- Experience with checking of documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Certificate/Diploma in Process Piping Drafting.
- E3D experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review vendor equipment drawings.
- Conduct design reviews using Navisworks.
- Create & Check isometrics, Piping Plans, Tie-in list.
- Work closely with pipe stress engineers on layouts to meet stress criteria.
- Communicates and works closely with all disciplines.
