About The Position

AECOM is actively seeking a talented Midstream Project Manager for immediate remote employment to augment our team in supporting a diversity of clients from the private sector, federal, utilities, municipalities, and developers to deliver leading edge midstream infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Proven track record managing midstream projects focused on pipelines, compressor stations, gas processing, LNG/NGL storage or terminal development from initiation through execution and closeout.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, resource allocation, and financial oversight.
  • Proficiency with project management software tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to field locations as needed (typically 10-20%).

Nice To Haves

  • 6 or 8 years of experience
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, procurement, and regulatory compliance in the execution of projects across the midstream value chain.
  • Familiarity with pipeline and pipeline compressor station engineering principles, construction methodologies. Standards, safety regulations (e.g., DOT, PHMSA), and environmental compliance.
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Understanding and experience managing third party survey and specialty subcontractors as required.
  • Understanding and experience managing third party right of way acquisition subcontractors.
  • Coordination with pipeline engineering, mapping, and GIS staff.
  • Experience with terminal facility planning and design for the receipt, storage, transfer and distribution of hydrocarbons or other bulk commodities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage midstream conceptual studies and detailed design projects across gathering, transportation, storage, and processing assets in coordination with our dedicated technical teams.
  • Profit and loss responsibility for projects.
  • Primary interface with clients.
  • Seller/doer approach to program execution.
  • Responsible for change management for projects.
  • Make decisions with general understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve results and deadlines.
