About The Position

SuperbTech is seeking a detail-oriented Drafter with experience in AutoCAD Plant 3D and pipeline design to support a leading utility client in Downtown Los Angeles. This role combines technical drafting with project coordination and administrative support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys collaborating with engineering teams while managing multiple design requests. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience producing high-quality piping drawings and 3D models in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of professional drafting experience.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Experience supporting pipeline, piping, utility, or industrial facility design projects.
• Ability to revise piping layouts and associated engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting natural gas, utility, energy, or industrial infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with engineering document control and drawing management.
• Experience coordinating engineering requests from intake through completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, and maintain piping layouts, 3D models, and engineering drawings using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Update drawings and models in accordance with company drafting standards and project requirements.
• Review incoming design requests for completeness and coordinate with requestors to obtain any missing information.
• Manage the intake, tracking, and prioritization of multiple drafting requests.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, and project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Maintain accurate drawing records and document revisions.
• Perform quality reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service while communicating effectively with internal stakeholders.
