About The Position

Responsible for providing intermediate level design and drafting support to Process Engineering. This role involves performing design-drafting assignments using AutoCAD 2D and 3D drawing techniques, following established standards, formats, and procedures to create, update, revise, and modify drawings. The position requires utilizing and creating drawings from sketches, notes, and other input material, reporting changes and mistakes to the Team Leader, and learning and adapting quickly to assigned project tasks. The Designer/Drafter is responsible for the quality of work produced, adhering to continuous improvement methods and ICM quality policies, and incorporating safety, operability, maintainability, and constructability into design work.

Requirements

• Associates degree or Technical Training degree required
• Possess excellent computer skills utilizing MS Office and AutoCAD (current version or within last 3 versions) 2D and 3D proficiency preferred
• Basic ability to review and check the accuracy of work prepared by others
• Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Must understand use of tape measure, square, level and various layout tools

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor or Technical degree preferred
• Applicable design experience preferred
