Requirements

Experience: Proven track record in wet utility installation and mechanical fittings.
Technical Skills: Ability to read plans, survey stakes, and figure grades.
Reliability: Must have reliable transportation and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Compliance: Must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing (Drug-Free Workplace).

Responsibilities

Pipe Installation: Assemble, connect, and install "wet" utility pipe systems (storm/sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains).
Grade Management: Work with operators to ensure ground is prepped and meets specs for slope and alignment.
Technical Implementation: Position, join, and align pipes at proper depths, angles, and grades; implement mechanical fittings.
Utility Safety: Locate underground utilities and utilize knowledge of "Blue Stakes" for safe installation.
Plan Reading: Accurately read and interpret project plans and survey stakes, including figuring grades.
