Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of working experience as a Topman/Woman or equivalent for various sewer and water projects required.
- Must have a strong understanding of reading grade.
- Must have an understanding of surveying.
- Must be able to do elevation shots.
- Must be able to read and understand drawings.
- CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground disturbance 201, fall protection required.
- A reliable means of transportation is required.
- Proficient English language skills required.
Nice To Haves
- A successful pre-access drug and Alcohol test may be required depending on the project.
Responsibilities
- Installing water valves, hydrants, air shoring, and box culverts.
- Installing concrete pipe, pvc pipe, MH's, and CB's.
- Communicating with the Foreman, operators, and crew members.
- Cut/bevel pipe to ensure proper pipe placement.
- Use surveying and grade to properly place pipe.
