About The Position
EMCOR Services Combustioneer is seeking an experienced pipefitter in Lanham, MD. This role involves experience with layout, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, structural steel, vessels, pumps, and equipment in an industrial environment. This position is covered by the CBA - Local 602.
Requirements
- At least three years Pipefitter in Industrial Construction setting
- Must have valid Driver's License
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Must be able to utilize electronic devices for daily communication
- Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
Responsibilities
- Layout, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms
- Assist pipe fitter with installation of the piping system to include boilers, chillers, air-handler units, cooling towers etc.
- Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
