About The Position
Pipefitters will work at a direct air capture facility in Notrees, Texas, installing ½-inch to 48-inch stainless and carbon steel piping systems. The schedule is 13/1s, with day or night shifts required. Pay is $41 per hour plus $125 per day in per diem.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial or large commercial pipefitting.
- Comfort reading blueprints and isometric drawings.
- Strong knowledge of stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems.
- Must have the required tools for the trade.
- Must pass a drug test and complete an audiogram.
- Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces, potentially over 300 feet.
- Must be available for overtime, nights, and weekends.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings.
- Cut, thread, bevel, and bend pipe.
- Assemble and install pipe spools and supports.
- Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests.
- Follow all site safety policies and procedures.
