About The Position
We are a leading industrial mechanical, electrical, and civil construction services provider for the fossil and nuclear power, pulp and paper, chemical, mining, and general manufacturing industries. We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services. MOR PPM Inc. seeks qualified pipe fitters for a project in Knoxville, TN.
Requirements
- At least three years Pipefitter in Industrial Construction setting
- Committed to safety at all times
- Excellent attendance
Responsibilities
- Exp w/layout, fabrication, installation, maintenance & repair of piping systems, structural steel, vessels, pumps & equip. in industry environment.
- Layout, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms in a steam boiler environment.
- Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
- Must be experienced in Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel.
- Must be experienced in taking your own measurements and use power tools.
