About The Position
Pipefitters are being hired for upcoming and ongoing projects throughout Indianapolis, Indiana. The primary responsibility is to read and interpret blueprints to accurately install, fabricate, and assemble piping systems. The role also involves working with piping systems for water, gas, steam, and other uses, as well as testing, maintaining, and repairing systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a pipefitter.
- Able to travel locally as needed.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must have own personal protective equipment (PPE).

- Experience with gas lines.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Cut, thread, bend, weld, and assemble pipes made from copper, steel, plastic, cast iron, and stainless steel.
- Install, fabricate, and assemble pipes, valves, fittings, and pressure regulators for water, gas, steam, and other systems.
- Test systems using pressure gauges and other methods to detect leaks or defects.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on existing piping systems.
- Assist with rigging, millwright work, and other related duties on large-scale projects, including pipe setting and bending.
