About The Position
This is a 2-week contract position for an experienced Pipefitter to work in a machine tool manufacturing environment. The candidate will perform pipefitting activities independently with minimal supervision. The role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting machine build, installation, and commissioning activities, and maintaining high-quality workmanship.

- Highly experienced performing pipefitting activities independently with minimal supervision in a machine tool and industrial automation environment

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematic drawings
- Read mechanical assembly drawings and bills of material (BOMs)
- Build, thread, and install pipe headers
- Install service stands, lockout valves, and related piping components
- Pipe robotic systems and sealer equipment
- Prepare and assemble valve packs and manifolds
- Route, install, and dress hoses and tubing to customer specifications
- Drill, tap, and ream holes as required for installation
- Perform mechanical assembly and piping modifications during machine builds
- Utilize hand tools, drill presses, grinders, and other fabrication equipment safely and effectively
