About The Position

Comfort Systems USA Southwest is seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter for special projects. The role involves installing, replacing, retrofitting, and performing technical work on HVAC piping systems in compliance with company policies, applicable codes, and industry standards. The successful candidate demonstrates strong productivity and quality, works independently with minimal supervision, follows safety procedures, maintains positive customer and colleague relationships, and completes required administrative tasks. A valid City of Phoenix Journeyman License is required where applicable. Candidates must provide and maintain personal tools as required by the employee manual and pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Requirements

• Maintain a valid City of Phoenix Journeyman License, where applicable.
• Have a minimum of 6 years of commercial HVAC piping experience.
• Possess thorough industry knowledge and stay current on HVAC piping systems and technology.
• Demonstrate mastery in the field, exceptional productivity, quality results, and the ability to make independent decisions with minimal supervision.
• Pass mandatory pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, retrofit, and perform technical work on HVAC piping systems in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Apply knowledge of HVAC piping principles, systems, applicable codes, and industry standards.
• Comply with company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional standards of presentation and performance and foster good relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Proactively address customer complaints and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Complete administrative tasks such as weekly time cards, safety toolbox talks, safety reports, and MSDS sheets in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep up to date with changes and advancements in HVAC piping systems and technology.
• Provide and maintain personal tools as required by the CSUSASW Employee Manual.
