About The Position

This position will help Journeyman with installing small diameter pipe, PVC glued pipe; must pass pre-employment drug test and available for overtime; rate is $28.50/hr.; Project is scheduled for 40+ hours per week. This position does NOT offer subsistence. Estimated duration is 1 year. Plan, lay-out and perform all types of pipe fitting and fabrication work in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision. Must have the ability to take direction from a higher skilled worker or foreman.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards and effectively utilize all trade tools and equipment relevant to the work.
• Must have a minimum of three years (level I), four years (level II), five years (level III) and six plus years (level Sr.) experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry and have an in-depth understanding of the pipefitter trade.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
