Plumbers Supply Co has been a pillar of stability and a family-owned home for our team for over 100 years. We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Pipe Yard Manager to lead our warehouse operations at our Louisville branch. Reporting to the Branch Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading daily pipe yard operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of materials. This is an essential leadership role where your oversight of team performance, workflow, and inventory processes will directly drive our branch's success.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or materials handling environment, with a strong preference for pipe yard or similar outdoor operations.
Demonstrated success in a supervisory role, including hiring, training, and coaching team members.
Ability to use warehouse systems, inventory management tools, and related technology, specifically P21.
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally 75+ lbs with assistance), stand/walk for extended periods, and perform various physical tasks like bending, kneeling, and reaching.
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be able to safely operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Plan and oversee all pipe yard activities, ensuring every incoming and outgoing shipment meets our quality and accuracy standards.
Directly supervise, coach, and develop associates, setting clear expectations and holding the team accountable to performance and safety goals.
Champion inventory integrity by managing cycle counts, verification processes, and documentation accuracy.
Maintain a safe, organized environment, ensuring full compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
Operate forklifts, perform associate duties during peak times, and work alongside the team to meet objectives.
