About The Position

This role involves supervising the fitting and welding of piping systems to meet specifications, sequence, and schedule. The supervisor will oversee accurate layout, support installation, and ensure final spool readiness. They will be responsible for the entire spool lifecycle, from material preparation to fitting, welding, and quality control readiness. A key aspect of the role is balancing throughput with craftsmanship, ensuring the team's work meets a high standard.

Requirements

• Experience in fitting and welding piping systems.
• Knowledge of ASME and AWS codes.
• Ability to train new fitters/welders.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to flag design issues or missing BOM early and escalate quickly.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld piping systems to spec, sequence, and schedule.
• Oversee accurate layout, support install, and final spool readiness.
• Own the full spool lifecycle—material prep, fitting, welding, and QC readiness.
• Balance throughput and craftsmanship—your team reflects your standard.
• Lead fabrication of spool assemblies and system piping.
• Ensure code compliance (ASME, AWS) and proper documentation.
• Track fitting/welding progress per module schedule.
• Train new fitters/welders and uphold discipline in work areas.
• Flag design issues or missing BOM early and escalate quickly.
