About The Position

This is a fully on-site position. The employee will complete a minimum 90-day on-site training period at Epsilon Industries’ Tuscaloosa, Alabama facility and will receive a per diem of $500 per week during the training period. Upon completion of training, the position will transfer to and remain fully on-site at Epsilon Industries’ Oxford, Alabama facility. The role involves fitting and welding piping systems to spec, sequence, and schedule, overseeing accurate layout, support installation, and final spool readiness. The employee will own the full spool lifecycle, including material preparation, fitting, welding, and QC readiness, balancing throughput and craftsmanship. The position requires leadership in fabricating spool assemblies and system piping, ensuring code compliance (ASME, AWS) and proper documentation, and tracking fitting/welding progress per module schedule. Expectations include ownership of pipe scope as critical infrastructure, balancing speed and quality in execution, training new fitters/welders, upholding discipline, and flagging design issues or missing BOMs early.

Requirements

• Possess a suitable combination of education and experience to meet the requirements of this position
• Must be a Pipe Fitter/Steamfitter Journeyman by trade
• Must be able to work with various hand tools
• Must be able to operate an industrial powered fork truck
• Demonstrated proficiency reading and interpreting work orders and drawings.
• Able to work independently or as a team player
• Able to take direction and communicate with others
• Have excellent time management skills, organized and detail oriented
• Employ a friendly, outgoing personality, respectful of co-workers and ability to work with individuals to carry out goals of the organization

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 – 3 years industrial experience is preferred
