About The Position
Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Stainless Pipe Welders for a shop-based welding project in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have solid experience welding stainless steel pipe, with a strong emphasis on TIG welding. This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder looking for steady hours on a short-term project.
Requirements
- Proven experience welding stainless steel pipe
- Strong TIG welding experience required
- Ability to produce clean, quality welds
- Must be able to successfully complete a weld test
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to complete a drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- TIG weld stainless steel pipe in a shop environment
- Perform high-quality welds according to project specifications
- Read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Prepare, fit, and weld stainless steel pipe and components
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company and job-site safety procedures
- Perform other welding and fabrication duties as assigned
