About The Position

We are seeking experienced Pipe Welders with strong GTAW (TIG) and GMAW/FCAW (MIG/Flux Core) welding experience to join a leading manufacturing team in Houston. This position is responsible for welding, fabrication, and quality inspection activities in accordance with customer specifications, blueprints, and welding procedures. Must be able to pass a 6G Weld Test.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of pipe welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, weld symbols, and measuring instruments
Knowledge of pipe schedules, materials, and welding processes
Ability to pass an internal welding test
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic math skills and measurement proficiency
Good verbal and written English communication skills

Nice To Haves

Dual certification in GTAW (TIG) and GMAW/FCAW (MIG/Flux Core) preferred

Responsibilities

Perform TIG, MIG, and Flux Core welding on pipe and related components
Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
Set up welding equipment and adjust welding parameters as required
Select proper filler metals and welding materials for various alloys and applications
Inspect welds and complete required quality documentation
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on welding equipment
Utilize precision measuring tools and gauges
Assist with material inventory audits and material tracking
Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Wear required PPE and participate in safety training
Perform additional duties as assigned
