About The Position

This role involves performing pipe welding and repairs, setting up, maintaining, and breaking down welding equipment. The welder will reference blueprints and schematics to ensure component specifications and maintain an orderly and safe workplace. The company emphasizes safety responsibilities and requires employees to observe and fulfill all safety guidelines. Employment is on an "at-will" basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout shifts.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Must be able to pass the required weld test.
• The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job without reasonable work accommodation.
• Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required.

Nice To Haves

• Welding certificate or training preferred.
• 5+ years of welding experience preferred.
• High level of proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
