About The Position

JRT Mechanical is seeking an experienced Pipefitter/Welder with experience in fitting and welding stainless and carbon steel. Requirements

• Stable job history
• Experience in the industry

• Experience fitting/welding stainless and carbon steel
• Both fitting and welding skills are required
• Ability to interpret isometric drawings
• Read blueprints, plans, and shop drawings
• Either certified or qualified to be certified to weld pipe in the 6G position open root full penetration

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld carbon and stainless steel via Stick and TIG
• Fit up piping in preparation to be welded
• Interpret isometric drawings
• Read blueprints, plans, and shop drawings
• Clean and clear debris and hazardous material from pipes
• Install piping supports such as hanger/strut/all-thread
