About The Position

JRT Mechanical is hiring a Pipe Fitter / Welder / Service employee to work with both its Service and Fabrication teams. Work may take place in JRT’s fabrication shop in Pasco or in the field at customer locations. Duties include reviewing job scope with customers, creating material lists and fabrication drawings, and installing pipe and associated structures. The work is varied and may also involve assisting the Fabrication team at JRT’s shop. Work is located in Pasco, Washington, and surrounding areas, serving customers such as food processing facilities, schools, large warehouses, and industrial buildings. The role offers consistent 40+ hours per week year-round. This is a safety-sensitive position; candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen. Pay is based on experience, with a stated range of $35–$46 per hour.

Requirements

• Stable job history and experience in the industry.
• Able to TIG, MIG, and Stick weld pipe and pass a weld test for each technique.
• Able to fit pipe from drawings and prints.
• Able to create, read, and fabricate from an isometric drawing.
• Understand the functional math behind pipe fitting.
• Read blueprints, plans, and shop drawings.
• Customer focused.
• Good communication skills.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
