About The Position

JRT Mechanical is hiring a Pipe Fitter / Welder / Service employee to work with its Service and Fabrication teams. Work may take place in the fabrication shop in Pasco or in the field at customer locations in Pasco, Washington, and surrounding areas. Projects include food processing facilities, schools, large warehouses, and industrial buildings. The work is varied and includes reviewing job scopes with customers, preparing material lists and fabrication drawings, and installing pipe and associated structures at customer locations. The position may also assist the Fabrication team in JRT’s shop. The role offers consistent 40+ hours per week year-round. Pay is $35–$46 per hour, depending on skills and experience. This is a safety-sensitive position, and candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Requirements

• Stable job history and industry experience.
• Able to TIG, MIG, and Stick weld pipe and pass a weld test for each technique.
• Able to fit pipe from drawings and prints.
• Able to create, read, and fabricate from an isometric drawing.
• Understand the functional math behind pipe fitting.
• Read blueprints, plans, and shop drawings.
• Customer-focused, with good communication skills.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen for this safety-sensitive position.
