About The Position
Venture Dynamics is hiring Pipe Welders and CuNi Pipe Fitters in the Lockport, Louisiana area. The roles involve fabricating, fitting, welding, and installing piping systems according to specifications, as well as inspecting, testing, and repairing piping as needed. Work takes place in a fully enclosed facility, with no rainouts or weather-related work interruptions. Housing is available for employees who need it for $50 per week. Pay is $25.00–$30.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Pipe Welders should preferably have 5 or more years of marine welding experience.
- Pipe Welders need experience with pipe welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, or SAW.
- Pipe Welders must be able to read blueprints and follow welding procedures.
- Pipe Welders must be able to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights.
- CuNi Pipe Fitters must have at least 1 year of Copper Nickel (CuNi) pipe fitting experience.
- CuNi Pipe Fitters must pass a hands-on pipe fitting test.
- CuNi Pipe Fitters need experience with pipe layout, fabrication, installation, and repairs.
- CuNi Pipe Fitters must be proficient with grinders, cutting tools, and pipe preparation.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, fit, weld, and install piping systems according to specifications.
- Inspect, test, and repair piping as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
