About The Position

The Pipe Equipment Operator II is responsible for operating heavy machinery to move, transport, and position pipe materials and other equipment. This role involves assisting in site preparation, performing daily equipment inspections, and maintaining a high level of quality work. The position also requires good communication and teamwork with various stakeholders on the job site, adherence to safety regulations, and professional representation of the company.

Requirements

Ability to perform as lead man
Ability to communicate and convey information effectively
Must be physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift 75 pounds
Knowledge of OSHA Standards
Requires personal transportation to job sites
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on all job sites as required
Committed to attending work each day
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

Ability to obtain Arsenal and FBI Badge preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Operate track hoes, loaders, excavators, and other heavy machinery to move, transport, and position pipe materials and other equipment
Use equipment to load and unload pipe sections and transport materials to designated locations
Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up equipment for pipe installation
Complete daily equipment inspections and report any issues immediately
Maintain a high level of quality work at all times
Maintain good relationships with Technicians, Foreman, Superintendents, Inspectors, Developers, and other co-workers at all times
Aid coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift
Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work tasks
Perform other duties as assigned
Represent and promote Grayson Carter and Son in a professional and honest manner
