About The Position

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Monroe, NC, is looking for a Pipe Cutter. Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is a leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Forklift certified.
Ability to learn to operate scale and label printer.
Keep work area up to 5S housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

Cutting pipe to the appropriate length and packaging the pipe into boxes.
Inventory and organizing materials.
Loading finished product into warehouse specific trailer.
Maintaining an organized, clean work area.
Cut supplied "z-pipe" into 2' sections.
Box 2' pieces of pipe into cardboard boxes.
Build and organize pallets from filled boxes.
Stock transfer trailers with created pallets.
Trouble-shoot, set up and reset saws and tape tables.
Keep supply shed up to 5S Housekeeping & Safety standards.
Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform job duties.
Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
