Requirements

  • Knowledgeable in OSHA standards.
  • Willingness to learn and accept direction from supervisors.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work with tools and equipment such as, power and non-power tools.
  • Frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel, climb and periodically lift up to 50lbs.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Ability to manage time, multitask and prioritize.

Responsibilities

  • Install according to plans and specifications
  • Set up and operate lasers and transits
  • Assist with excavation layout, trenching, bedding and backfilling
  • Ensure proper pipe alignment, slope, and elevation
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with OSHA regulations
  • Work collaboratively with equipment operators and crew members
  • Perform related duties as required.
