About The Position
Blythe Development is a licensed general contractor specializing in site work, road construction, and golf course construction in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. We are a 100% Employee Owned company founded in 1989. Our operations include clearing, grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, waterline, curb and gutter, sidewalk, concrete paving, retaining walls, culverts, bridges, stone base, and asphalt paving. We employ over 900 people and self-perform 80% of site groundwork. We are currently looking to add experienced individuals to our pipe crews.
Requirements
- Experienced Pipe Layer
- Loader Operator
- General Laborer
- Regularly works near moving machinery/tools which requires good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination
- Must be able to move quickly and have excellent stamina
- Must be able to push, pull, or carry objects (over 50 lbs.)
- Must be able to use legs, hips, shoulders, abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to climb ladders
Responsibilities
- Install pipes for various construction projects.
