About The Position

Datmos is hiring its next PIM/PXM Solution Specialist - E-commerce (Bilingual)! Datmos brings together passionate experts who combine creativity and data to craft inspiring eCommerce experiences. Driven by a shared passion for excellence, we help visionary brands grow by aligning commerce strategy, digital experience, and technology implementation to deliver innovative, data-driven digital commerce solutions. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and evolving Product Information Management solutions using Akeneo. Whether you are already an Akeneo expert or a seasoned PIM specialist (inRiver, Salsify, Pimcore, etc.) ready to transition into the Akeneo ecosystem, you will help ensure high-quality, consistent product data that powers seamless product experiences across all channels. Your mission: define and implement efficient PIM solutions, ensure product data quality and governance, and enable brands to deliver outstanding product experiences at scale.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in PIM/PXM implementation and solution design.
• Hands-on experience with Akeneo is a strong asset. However, if your expertise lies in other enterprise PIMs (e.g., inRiver, Salsify, Pimcore, Syndigo) and you have the right integration mindset, we will train and certify you on Akeneo.
• Experience in data quality process design, standardization, and approval workflows.
• Strong technical understanding of APIs, connectors, system integrations, and data flows (you are an integration-minded specialist, not a pure developer).
• A strong configuration mindset and systems thinking approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills with a desire for client-facing ownership.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry is an asset.
• Proficiency in both English and French is required, as you will be working with clients across North America.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the PIM/PXM strategy using Akeneo in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
• Design and implement product information management solutions, focusing on product hierarchy, taxonomy, and attribute modeling.
• Ensure product data governance, quality, consistency, and implement product enrichment best practices.
• Configure and customize Akeneo, including data models and workflows for enrichment, validation, and approvals.
• Monitor product data performance and continuously improve product experiences across channels.
• Implement and oversee data quality processes in line with Datmos standards.
• Manage integrations between the PIM and internal/external systems (ERP, CRM, e-commerce, DAM, etc.).
• Map product data, define data flows between systems, and orchestrate data effectively.
• Troubleshoot data synchronization issues and leverage your understanding of APIs and connectors to ensure seamless data exchanges.
• Collaborate closely with technical architects, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
• Train teams on Akeneo and PIM best practices, focusing on client enablement, and produce clear documentation.
