About The Position

Talon Air is seeking to expand its team by adding a fifth pilot to a Challenger 605 account, ideally a Captain, based in the New York area. Talon Air is a Part 135 operator located in Farmingdale, NY, with a diverse fleet of over 40 aircraft. This specific account operates with five pilots on an 8 days on / 6 days off schedule, which may offer flexibility due to trip activity. The account is charter-friendly, ensuring consistent flight hours and opportunities for pilots to build significant experience. The Challenger 605 is projected to fly approximately 500–600 hours annually. This role offers the stability of a dedicated account with potential for growth within Talon Air, including opportunities for fleet mobility into larger aircraft, Part 91 accounts, check airman positions, and leadership roles.

Requirements

• ATP
• 3,000+ Total Time
• 1,000+ Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
• 750+ Pilot in Command (PIC) (500+ MEL PIC preferred)
• 150 Instrument
• 1 year of Part 135 experience preferred
• FAA First Class Medical
• Valid Passport

• First Officer qualification considered
