About The Position

Accenture Flex is hiring a Pilot Pod Engineer for an application remediation project. The project aims to accelerate critical remediation, build sustainable currency capabilities, and establish the operating model and governance needed to sustain progress. An initial five-week mobilization sprint will establish the program operating model and enable technical delivery teams to begin addressing real findings. The role leads the pilot pod focused on critical remediation and piloting remediation for selected critical applications. The engineer works with application owners, engineering subject matter experts, and business and function currency leads to understand application architecture, technology stacks, findings, constraints, and delivery dependencies. Accenture Flex employees work onsite at the project in their local metro area, reducing or eliminating travel demands.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience.
Core Java sustain progress experience.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Lead the pilot pod focused on critical remediation and pilot remediation for selected critical applications.
Engage each application’s owner, engineering subject matter expert, and business and function currency lead to understand its architecture, technology stack, and known remediation constraints.
Assess application-specific vulnerability and currency findings, including component dependencies, blast radius, and cross-application or cross-business-unit integration risks.
Identify release constraints, change authorization requirements, and testing dependencies that govern the remediation approach for each application.
Document the initial remediation approach and sequencing for each application to form the basis of its application-specific delivery plan.
