About The Position

This role involves supporting pilot plant campaigns under the guidance of a BI Technician. The operator will collaborate with plant technicians and campaign managers to resolve process and equipment issues, and assist in communicating batch status to various stakeholders. A key aspect of the role is ensuring all required training is completed promptly and becoming proficient in equipment operation, batch record entries, and calculations. The operator will also participate in team meetings, including PSOR meetings, where input and feedback are expected. Adherence to all procedures, including the proper use of PPE, and a strong commitment to safety are paramount. Reporting all incidents is mandatory.

Requirements

Experience working with established GMP procedures and bulk manufacturing.
Technical knowledge of manufacturing systems, methods, and procedures.
Effective troubleshooting skills with equipment and/or process.

Responsibilities

Follow the lead of a BI Technician in pilot plant campaigns.
Work with plant technicians and campaign managers to address process and equipment-related challenges.
Assist the BI Lead technician in communicating the batch status with the chemist, Ch.D. analytical, and MAS.
Take all required training and complete it before the due date.
Be involved in group activities such as the 9 AM and 2:00 PM meetings.
Become proficient in equipment operation, batch record entries, and calculations.
Attend PSOR Meetings, speak up, and give input at these meetings.
Follow all procedures, including the wearing of and use of defined PPE.
Report all incidents, such as spills, exposures, cuts/abrasions, etc., to management.
Conduct all operations and activities with Safety as the # 1 goal.
