About The Position

This role involves collaborating with the Captain to ensure safe, efficient, and timely air transportation for company employees, representatives, and associates. The Pilot - Co-Captain will serve as Second in Command (SIC) and Pilot in Command (PIC) for all flights, adhering to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company policies. Responsibilities include conducting pre-flight inspections, ensuring aircraft databases are current, reviewing flight plans, coordinating aircraft handling and fueling, preparing flight plans, evaluating weather conditions, making critical flight decisions, ensuring the aircraft is prepared and provisioned for passenger comfort and safety, and providing exemplary customer service. This is a non-commutable position.

Requirements

  • Must have logged a minimum of 2000 flight hours.
  • Must have 500 flight hours in multi-engine turbine aircraft.
  • Must meet all currency requirements regarding instrument flight time and night landings.
  • Commercial Multi-Engine certificate with the ability to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
  • Must be able to maintain a First Class FAA medical certificate.
  • Hold a Passport with the ability to travel to Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Second in Command (SIC) and Pilot in Command (PIC) for all flights and related competencies.
  • Verify aircraft compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform all pre-flight inspections before each flight.
  • Verify aircraft databases are current.
  • Review weight and balance, fuel on board, and aircraft performance.
  • Coordinate aircraft handling and fueling with Fixed Based Operators (FBO’s) under the supervision of the Captain.
  • Prepare flight plans and evaluate weather conditions at destination and en route for optimum safety.
  • Make competent, well-informed decisions regarding flight continuation, diversion, delay, or cancellation.
  • Ensure the aircraft is always prepared for flight, clean, and supplied with necessary provisions for passenger safety and comfort.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to all passengers.
  • Coordinate travel needs, such as catering services and ground transportation.
