About The Position

We seek a dynamic, passionate, and motivating Pilates Reformer Instructor to join our fitness team. If you thrive on positively impacting others' lives and enjoy designing personalized fitness journeys, this is the perfect opportunity! This position will lead Group and Private Pilates Reformer classes.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated prior experience in instruction of Pilates Reformers.
  • Pilates Reformer Certification with a minimum of 200 hours to include comprehensive Pilates Reformer training.
  • Strong knowledge of proper exercise techniques includes Allegro Reformers, Pilates Arc, boxes, and jump boards.
  • Ability to design innovative, fun, and challenging workout programs for all fitness levels to help reach clients' potential.
  • High comfort level working and communicating with diverse clientele, from beginners to advanced athletes, young to older adults.
  • Current CPR/AED certification, commitment to maintain current regarding fitness trends through continuing education.
  • Availability to include weekdays, evenings, weekends.
  • Strong knowledge of the principles and practice of fitness programming.

Responsibilities

  • Design class format and lead clients through safe workouts, ensuring proper technique with all equipment.
  • Educate and monitor class participants' Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE) throughout the class or session.
  • Offer professional exercise modifications as needed, catering to all fitness levels, including those with special needs.
  • Schedule client training sessions and communicate with clients if a session must be canceled or rescheduled.
  • Guide clients in the proper cleaning of equipment
  • Maintain patron engagement and excitement with various dynamic exercises, adjusting to needs, and ensuring proper safety techniques.
  • Ensure clients receive an exceptional experience, every session, every time.
  • Support and ensure adherence to Departmental philosophies, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
