About The Position

BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, is hiring a part-time Pilates Instructor. The role is seasonal and is expected to last six months or less, with year-round part-time work also available as an employment option. Compensation is $15 per hour for non-training hours and $15 per hour plus a $35 commission when conducting training sessions. The position also offers a $500 sign-on bonus. The instructor designs and delivers safe Pilates programs tailored to clients’ needs, guides members through initial and progressive sessions, and helps maintain a clean and safe studio and fitness environment. The instructor supports daily studio operations, works with the Pilates Manager and team, and provides professional member service. Requirements

Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Certification, preferably through the NPCP (National Pilates Certification Program) or PMA (Pilates Method Alliance).
CPR/AED Certification.
At least two years of experience teaching Pilates, including Pilates programming and group Pilates training.
Ability to establish safe and effective Pilates programs in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines.
Excellent member service skills.
Willingness to participate in continuing education seminars and workshops.
Experience with a wide variety of exercise modalities, equipment, instructional techniques, injury prevention, fitness and wellness counseling, and developing or interpreting personalized Pilates and wellness programs.
Ability to read and speak English to perform the duties of the position.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

Design safe and effective Pilates programs according to clients’ specific needs.
Guide members through initial and progressive Pilates sessions.
Use proper, current, and safe teaching procedures.
Inspect Pilates apparatus and areas for cleanliness and safety.
Perform light custodial duties, including wiping down equipment and monitoring cleanliness in the pool area, spa, fitness center, and locker rooms.
Enforce rules and regulations politely and professionally.
Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.
Assist with day-to-day operations of the Pilates Studio.
Work closely with the Pilates Manager and Pilates Team Members.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as required.
