About The Position

BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, is hiring a part-time Pilates Instructor. The position supports a hospitality-focused club organization and involves designing and delivering safe, effective Pilates programs tailored to members. The instructor assists with daily Pilates Studio operations, works with the Pilates Manager and team, and helps maintain clean and safe fitness and wellness areas. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Be able to establish safe and sound Pilates programs determined by governing bodies.
• Have excellent member service skills.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and workshops.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Have experience and exposure to a wide variety of exercise modalities, equipment, instructional techniques, injury prevention, fitness and wellness counseling, and developing and interpreting personalized Pilates and wellness regimens.
• Be able to read and speak English to perform the duties of the position.
• Have a minimum of two years of experience teaching Pilates, including Pilates programming and group Pilates training.
• Hold Pilates Instructor Comprehensive Certification.
• Hold CPR/AED Certification.

Nice To Haves

• Pilates Instructor Comprehensive Certification preferably from NPCP (National Pilates Certification Program) or PMA (Pilates Method Alliance).

Responsibilities

• Design safe and effective Pilates programs according to clients' specific needs.
• Guide members through initial and progressive Pilates sessions.
• Use proper, up-to-date, and safe procedures when teaching clients.
• Inspect Pilates apparatus and areas for cleanliness and safety.
• Perform light custodial duties, including wiping down equipment and monitoring cleanliness in the pool area, spa, fitness center, and locker rooms.
• Enforce rules and regulations politely and professionally.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the Pilates Studio.
• Work closely with the Pilates Manager and Pilates Team Members.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.
