About The Position
The Pilates Instructor provides a variety of group Reformer classes to an active population and their guests. The instructor gives detailed instructions, demonstrates proper technique, and offers exercise modifications. The instructor prepares each class and provides suitable music. This is a part-time, commission-based position at Broken Sound Club in Boca Raton, Florida.
Requirements
- Nationally recognized Pilates certification.
- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
- At least one year of experience.
- Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of classes to members with an uplifting, positive attitude.
- Provide detailed instructions, proper technique, and exercise modifications.
- Advise participants on program and class policies and procedures.
- Prepare each class and provide and play suitable music.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized studio.
- Report equipment issues to the Fitness Director.
- Attend required trainings, workshops, and staff meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Fitness Director or other authorized personnel.
