Pilates Instructor
About The Position
We’re looking for a confident, member-focused Pilates Instructor to deliver premium reformer classes and 1:1 sessions. The instructor will coach with precision, create an exceptional studio experience, and help members stay consistent—driving results, retention, and program growth. The Pilates Instructor delivers premium reformer classes and 1:1 Pilates experiences that drive measurable results, strengthen retention, and support revenue growth. The role executes a structured programming system with precision and consistency; it focuses on delivering the program at a high level rather than designing it.
Requirements
- Certified Pilates Instructor; reformer certification is required.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Experience teaching group fitness and/or small-group training.
Nice To Haves
- Apparatus training in Reformer, Tower, and Mat.
- 60–400-hour comprehensive Pilates certification covering Mat, Reformer, Tower, and Chair.
- Experience working in a structured programming environment.
- Sales and/or client conversion experience.
- Background in personal training or fitness instruction.
Responsibilities
- Lead small-group reformer classes with energy, precision, and control.
- Deliver standardized class formats as designed.
- Provide clear, effective cueing and appropriate hands-on corrections.
- Ensure safe, effective movement options for all levels.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, premium studio environment.
- Build relationships that support member consistency and retention.
- Learn and use member names and understand their goals and limitations.
- Maintain high energy and professionalism in every class.
- Identify opportunities to match members with additional services that support their goals, including 1:1 Pilates sessions and semi-private training.
- Reinforce the value of All-Access membership through engagement and retention.
- Promote the benefits of structured programming and consistency.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and ensure equipment is class-ready.
- Complete daily equipment checks and promptly report issues.
- Track attendance and participation accurately.
- Follow booking, check-in, and capacity protocols.
- Adhere to all safety standards and protocols.
- Maintain current CPR/AED certification.
- Follow incident-reporting procedures.
